Six bungees in mixed lengths, which is the honest way to buy them.

Nobody knows in advance which length they will need. Buy a pack of one size and you will have five of the wrong one. An assortment covers the short jobs — a cooler lid, a jerry can — and the long ones across a bed rack or over a load.

Moulded hooks, so they do not chew paint when they slip.

Keep them in one place. Loose bungees migrate to every corner of a vehicle and are never where you are standing.
