A 4-inch, 40-watt scene light from Black Oak's Pro Series 3.0 line. Scene optics means it throws a wide, flat wash close in rather than a beam down the trail — this is the light you want pointed at the ground around the rig, not at the horizon.

Mounted on a rack upright or the back of a cap it turns the whole work area into usable light, which is the difference between finding the recovery strap and feeling around for it. Pair two on opposite corners and you have no shadows to fight.
