An insect and tick repellent built on picaridin rather than DEET.

Picaridin is the reason to read this listing. It is as effective as DEET against mosquitoes and ticks, and it does not attack plastics or synthetic fabrics — no hazed watch crystal, no softened rain jacket, no weakened fishing line.

It also has no smell to speak of and does not leave the greasy feel DEET does.

For anyone handling optics, cameras, fishing tackle or technical outerwear, this is the better choice by a wide margin.

Formulated with ticks specifically in mind, which matters anywhere with tall grass or brush.
