A 3.4 oz tube of insect repellent lotion.

A lotion solves the problems a spray has. You can put it exactly where you want it, there is no cloud to breathe in, and nothing drifts onto food, gear or the person next to you.

That makes it the better choice around children, around a camp kitchen, and inside a tent or an awning.

It also goes on evenly, so you get full coverage rather than the patchy result a spray gives on a windy evening.

A tube cannot leak the way a pump bottle can, which matters in a packed bag.
