A first aid kit for one to two people on a one to two day trip.

The size most people should buy. Enough to handle what actually happens on a trail without the weight of a kit built for a week.

Organized so you can find what you need without emptying the bag, and marked clearly enough to hand to someone else.

Adventure Medical sizes its kits by how far you are from help, not by piece count. Pick the one that matches your worst realistic day, not your average one.
