The SOL Escape Bivvy XL — the hooded, breathable Escape Bivvy cut larger, in gray.

Standard bivvies are sized tight to trap heat efficiently, which works until you are over six feet, wearing a puffy jacket, or trying to keep a dog in with you.

The XL buys that room back. A bivvy you cannot get into properly is not warmer for being snug.

Same breathable heat-reflective construction and same drawcord hood as the standard Escape.

The one to buy if you are tall, if you sleep in your layers, or if the dog comes along.
