A self-adjusting stripper for 24 through 12 AWG. It grips, strips and releases in one squeeze without setting a gauge, and without nicking strands the way a fixed-notch stripper does when you guess wrong.
Nicked strands are the quiet cause of a lot of 12V trouble — the circuit works, then fails where the conductor has been reduced to half its section under the insulation.
