Evernew HD. ALU Pan #18 — Detachable Handle
$91.49
A 2 mm thick hard aluminum pan with a detachable stainless handle rated for a bonfire.
The heavy-duty one, and the reason to choose it over the ultralight pans is the 2 mm wall. A thick base spreads heat evenly and does not warp, which is what you want over a real fire rather than a controlled burner — and Evernew publish the detachable stainless handle as usable on a bonfire, which is a claim they make nowhere else in this range.
The handle comes off entirely, so the pan packs flat and you can extend your reach over coals.

This pan is not non-stick, and that is deliberate. Evernew list the material as “aluminum (alumite coating)” and their description says “no coating.” Those reconcile: alumite is anodizing — a conversion of the metal surface itself — not a non-stick layer on top. So there is nothing to scratch off and nothing to wear out, and you will want oil. For a pan that is going on a fire, that is the right trade.
🔴 Evernew publish no capacity figure for any size in this line.
One thing Evernew do not publish, for anything in their range: a direct-flame rating. Their only heat guidance is to use a lower heat source so food does not burn and stick. So we are not going to tell you this is rated for an open fire. On a camp stove with a moderate flame it is exactly what it was designed for.
Warranty
Evernew offer a one-year limited warranty. Not a lifetime guarantee — we mention it because several brands in this category do offer one and it would be easy to assume.
