Read the size before you buy. Every Nalgene wide mouth bottle takes a 63 mm cap except one: the 16 oz wide mouth, which is 53 mm and has its own cap. This is that cap. If you have a 32 or 48 oz, you want the 63 mm version instead.

How it ships: this is the bulk-packed version — the lid itself, without a retail card or hang-tag. Same part, less packaging, which is the way we would rather sell a spare anyway.

What it fits

Nalgene’s compatibility field for this cap reads “16 oz WM only.” That is the whole list, and it is why this part exists as a separate item.

Specifications

A note on Nalgene’s own numbers: they print this as “2 inches (53 mm)” and 2 inches is actually 50.8 mm. Their inch figures across the whole cap range are nominal rather than converted. Go by the millimeters.
