Shock cord — bungee cord by the spool. The classic use is re-cording tent poles, which is the repair that saves a tent most people would otherwise replace, and from there it goes into everything: deck lacing, pole keepers, load retention, dog leads, awning tensioners.

Made in the United States, and Liberty Mountain makes a point about the construction worth repeating: the jacket is long-wear multifilament polypropylene or nylon, not the cotton under-cover that some manufacturers use to bulk the cord up cheaply. Cotton under-cover feels thicker and wears out faster.

This is a bulk spool — a trade quantity. If you only need enough to re-cord one tent, ask us and we will tell you roughly how much that takes rather than selling you 1,000 ft of it.
